A Flourishing Start!
The inaugural Bognor Coffee House held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 was a beautiful success. Ten brave souls shared poetry and song while 29 neighbours listened, encouraged, and held space for one another. This is the kind of community I want to live in. May this become a Bognor tradition.
Our Second Attempt!
Our second Bognor Coffee House held on Sunday June 7th 2026 was another wonderful success! A few more folks joined us, and 10 shares of poetry, song, and storytelling filled the entire two hours. Thank you for helping create a safe space to share and be heard.
Our Third Round!
Wow, just wow.
The afternoon of Sunday, June 21st 2026, the Bognor Coffee House seemed to shine with something rare and beautiful. Forty-two souls gathered, young and old, from many walks of life, to share songs, poems, stories, and silence. We were honoured by the presence of both a former and the current Poet Laureates of Owen Sound, whose words graced us with beauty and wonder.
For a few hours, strangers became friends, listeners became companions, and ordinary moments became something unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who helped make this afternoon one to treasure. Please enjoy these glimpses of a truly remarkable gathering.
